Hurricane Readiness Plan
As severe weather becomes more common, many insurance companies are tightening requirements on boat owners regarding hurricane planning. Some will not issue insurance without an approved hurricane plan.
Boston Marine Services has a premium program that insurance companies have described as “exactly what we need."
The BMS hurricane plan includes:
• Captain pickup of your vessel from your dock or marina
• Priority haul-out and secure blocking
• Bottom wash and storm tie-down
• Post-storm launch
• Delivery of your vessel back to your dock or marina
When a storm is coming, the last place you want to be is at the back of the line. Enrollment in the program is limited based on yard capacity.
